Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read about me.

I am a mum of a very active little girl and live in north east London. As well as being a certified sleep consultant I also work part time as a diagnostic radiographer in a London hospital.

For the first year of motherhood, my daughter slept amazingly… she napped well and was the bedtime dream! I could put her down in her cot for the night and leave straight away and she’d sleep 12 hours….

Then after she turned one everything changed! She would refuse to go in the cot and before I knew it I had become an external sleep prop assisting her to go to sleep every night.  As they say good habits form quick… but bad habits form quicker.

I read a lot of things online for help, but found so much conflicting advice and I wasn’t ready to cry it out. I found myself dreading bedtime everyday, not knowing if I would get an evening or what the rest of the night had in store! I started believing that this was what life was for now, and that things would get better on their own, even though deep down I knew they wouldn’t unless I made some changes!

One evening something inside me just clicked and I realised I had to make the changes as no one was going to do it for me.
What I needed was a personalised sleep plan – step by step instructions to follow. Baby sleep the night provided me exactly this, and because of it we are much better rested, I enjoy my time with my daughter a lot more and as  a family we are genuinely so much happier.

Now my daughter loves going to sleep and I have the opposite problem of struggling to get her up in the morning!

Getting the help I needed was life changing and has even led to a new career! Dealing with my daughter’s sleep issues was life changing for me, and now I want to share this feeling with as many of you as possible.

We contacted Sarah about our 18month olds sleep after months of broken nights, often with him waking every 30-40 minutes, and noticing no difference with dropping night feeds. Sarah led us through a detailed sleep schedule with all the steps laid out simply so that even in our sleep deprived brain fog we could follow it.

She checked in with us daily, gave lots of encouragement and also provided us with useful reference material for different scenarios such as travel and illness.

After learning to self-settle our son’s sleep has been transformed, we have our evenings back, and are feeling the benefits of uninterrupted sleep.

From the day Harry was born he was always a good sleeper.

However, when he turned 2 years and 7 months his bed time became extremely difficult and he would not stay in his own bed or room, and kept coming downstairs. Harry would also wake up to 5 times a night and would take a while to settle back to sleep.

I approached Sarah to see if she could help us with her sleep plan work. The first couple of nights were a little challenging (which Sarah explained they would be) but we stuck firmly to the comprehensive plan (which was easy to follow) and the results have been absolutely outstanding!

Harry now settles himself to sleep after we give him a goodnight kiss and he sleeps through the night until it’s time to wake up. This has resulted in Harry being so much happier throughout the day and Mommy and Daddy are getting their much needed sleep.
