Firstly, I want to say well done. Well done for being an amazing parent. It’s not an easy job that’s for sure. Rewarding? Immensely. Fulfilling? Like nothing else. Knackering? … Yawn, sorry, what was the question?
I don’t know you (yet), but just the fact that you’re here reading this tells me all I need to know: you love your child beyond words and would do anything for them. You’re doing your very best for them, like we all do. Sometimes though, our best isn’t quite enough. In fact, often it’s because we love them so much that we can’t do it alone. We all need a little help sometimes. I know I did.
Baby Sleep The Night changed my life. In fact, it gave me back my life. That may sound a little dramatic, but I know that if you are reading this with a child who is not sleeping - which means you’re also not sleeping - you know exactly what I’m talking about.
I have two daughters. Two beautiful, absolutely-perfect-in-every-single-way daughters. Okay, maybe that’s pushing it. But one thing I can say with complete honesty is that they sleep through the night. They sleep through the night every night. Which means I sleep through the night. Of course, it wasn’t always that way.
I love animals. Since a young age I’ve always had pets. Cats, especially. They sleep a lot, cats. Like babies. So when I had my first daughter I figured she would sleep a lot, just like my cats had. Sleeping like a baby, and all that. OH. MY. GOD. She didn’t sleep. Well, she did, in the car. Or on my chest. Or in bed with me. In other words, everywhere she shouldn’t and nowhere she should. I made every mistake there is to make.
I was at my wit’s end. And then I found Karen.
My daughter slept through the night on night two. Night two! I couldn’t believe it. I kept waking up expecting her to be awake. But she wasn’t. And she didn’t wake up night three either. Same night four, night five and every night that week. That month. And every month since.
When my second daughter came along I had all the tools I needed. Of course, no two children, no two people, are the same, so I had to change a few things. But the fundamentals were the same. And, like her big sister, she soon fell into a routine of sleeping through the night as standard.
I am so grateful for the help Karen and her team gave me. When the opportunity came up for me to help others I didn’t hesitate. I know it costs money, everything does. But let me ask you this question: what price would you put on your child sleeping? What price would you put on you sleeping? I can make these things happen. And it will change your life, just like it did mine.
